Size doesn't matter in chiropractic billing: Aurora Billing Solutions helps both big and small. We make everything from verifying patient insurance to creating remainder statements pain-free. Aurora Billing Solutions has two different plans for your office.
Option 1
You will pay a monthly membership fee of $500. This will also give you access to our systems including officeally. You will also pay a 4% on the amount the insurance pays.
Option 2
You will pay 8% on what is allowed on all billing. The allowed amount is the amount the insurance company is contracted to pay you BEFORE copay/co-insurance/deductibles. You will receive an invoice once a week. Perfect for those smaller offices that are just looking for a simple biller.

Your invoices are sent digitally from invoice ninja and you can pay using paypal and Venmo. No checks, No stamps, No Fuss!
How fast can we be up and running?
We can start submitting claims on your behalf as soon as we receive approval from the clearhouses. Turnaround time by most major payers is 2-3 days.
Why is the cost so high?
When thinking about the cost of billing you have to think about the cost of billing insurance companies in house.
(Numbers based on 100 claims per a week)
- Clearinghouse Cost to Submit Claims: 45 cents per a claim
- Cost to verify a patient insurance active at each visit: 10 cents a visit
- Postage Cost to send 3 invoices: $2.07
- Cost to purchase supplies (paper, envelopes, ink): Average $1.00 a claim
- Paying an employee: Average $2.50 a claim
- Employee Taxes and Benefits: Average $1.75 a claim
That means each claim is averaging $7.87. Now its a BCBS of MA patient that you get an average $45 for the visit.
Employee Cost: 17% of your income
ABS Cost: 8% of your income
